Off-plan property in Cameroon

New developments with the developer, payment plan, permit status and dated progress updates on one page.

Our first off-plan projects are being checked.

We only publish a project once we have seen the developer's permit and title status. Leave your email and we'll tell you when the first one goes live.

How to buy off-plan safely

Off-plan property is bought from a developer before it is finished, usually at a lower price paid in instalments. The trade-off is risk: delays, changes to the specification, or a project that stalls. Protect yourself with five habits:

  1. Ask for the building permit and the land title status in writing, and have a lawyer or notary check them.
  2. Tie each payment to a construction stage you can see — by visit or dated photos and video.
  3. Read the contract for what happens if handover is late, and how deposits are protected.
  4. Treat renders as renders: they are an artist's impression, not a promise.
  5. Pay only into accounts named in the signed contract — never to an individual on request.
